Calibration Versus Guesswork
When we replicate or upgrade a customized part, we never guess the hardness by hand-squeezing. We use physics and advanced material science.
Our new hoses are strictly calibrated to a standard hardness of 70±5 Shore A right out of the mold.
In the fluid handling industry, this is the exact "sweet spot." It provides the optimal mechanical strength to withstand system pressure, while retaining the essential pliability required for a fast, leak-free, and stress-free assembly on your production line.
The Secret In The High-Rubber Formula
But there is a deeper reason why our fresh EPDM hoses feel so uniquely resilient and pliable: We don't skimp on the premium compound.
In the lower-tier market, many factories load their formulas with cheap, heavy mineral fillers and low-cost oils to cut raw material costs. This makes the hose feel stiff and rigid from day one, but it also makes it highly brittle, prone to cracking, and short-lived.
We choose a different path. Our compound features a significantly higher content of premium EPDM raw rubber.
While this makes the fresh hose feel more flexible and "springy" initially, it packs the material with massive technical advantages:
