SAE 100R3 is a versatile, textile-reinforced hydraulic hose built for general-purpose fluid-handling applications where steel wire reinforcement is unnecessary. Its double-braid fiber construction offers excellent flexibility and kink resistance, making it easy to route in tight spaces. While not suitable for high-pressure or high-impulse circuits, it provides a cost-effective and reliable solution for return/suction lines, fuel lines, and coolant systems in agricultural, industrial, and mobile equipment. With a 4:1 safety factor and good resistance to oils, ozone, and weather, it remains a dependable workhorse in non-critical hydraulic circuits.
