This EPDM steam hose is designed for the transfer of high temperature saturated steam. It has an EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) rubber tube for resistance to high temperatures and is reinforced with multiple fiber braids to resist expansion for maintaining maximum pressure. The pressure rating for common sizes is 10 bar, and the operating temperature ranges from -40 to + 125 degrees C. This steam hose is suitable for use in HAVC, refineries, chemical plants, shipyards, steel mills and heavy industrial applications where high strength is required and severe environmental conditions are encountered.
